In the Lok Sabha elections, Aam Aadmi Party can field its candidates on four out of seven seats in Delhi and Congress on three. This formula has been approved in the meeting held on Friday between the two parties under the opposition Alliance India.

However, both the parties have not disclosed this. Their leaders said that the meeting was held in a pleasant atmosphere and the decisions taken in the meeting will be informed in the coming days. Earlier also on January 8, a meeting was held between the two parties.

A meeting between AAP and Congress leaders was held on Friday evening at the residence of Congress leader Mukul Wasnik. Rajya Sabha MPs Raghav Chadha and Sandeep Pathak, Delhi government ministers Atishi and Saurav Bhardwaj attended the meeting from AAP side, while Mukul Wasnik, Salman Khurshid, Ashok Gehlot, Mohan Prakash attended the meeting from Congress side.

In the meeting that lasted for about two hours, they mainly discussed the seven seats of Delhi. State President Arvind Singh Lovely had come to the meeting from Delhi, although he left in the middle of the meeting to attend a program.

This is how agreement was reached

Sources said that Congress will contest from North-East Delhi, South Delhi and North-West Delhi Lok Sabha seats, while Aam Aadmi Party will contest from New Delhi, Chandni Chowk, West Delhi and East Delhi seats.

There will be separate discussion on Punjab-Gujarat

Talks were also held between the two parties on the seats of Punjab and Gujarat. There was talk of calling the Congress leaders there and holding a meeting to discuss the seats here. Congress leaders from these two states were not involved in this meeting. Therefore, now separate talks can be held on these states.
