AAP MP Sandeep Pathak on India Pak Border said pak draone entering India Punjab Amritsar Ann

Aap mp on india pak border: Aam Aadmi Party national general secretary organization and Rajya Sabha MP Sandeep Pathak raised the issue of rapidly growing drone activities on the India-Pakistan border in Punjab on Monday (February 10, 2025). He demanded the central government to take appropriate steps to immediately ban drugs and weapons smuggling from drones along the Indo-Pakistan border in Punjab. Pathak said, ‘Drone infiltration in Punjab’s border area is steadily increasing and more than 300 drones have been seen last year, so India needs to advance anti -drone technology as well as zero tolerance and zero infiltration policy. Drone can be used in information, drugs, weapons and in terrorist activities, so that they do not come in the eyes of the Government of India.

Sandeep Pathak said, I want to keep an important subject in the House, which is directly related to the life of the people living in the national security and border area. The border of about 550 km of Punjab is directly from Pakistan. Drone infiltration has been increasing continuously over many years. About 50 drones were seen in 2020, after that the number increased every year and about 300-350 drones were seen last year.

‘Most drones land in India and fly back’

Sandeep Pathak said that the most worrying thing is that the number of drones being neutralized by the security force is quite low. This is just a few percent. This means that most drones land in India and fly back. In such a situation, it is very serious to use drone by Pakistan on the border belt.

Rajya Sabha MP Sandeep Pathak said, ‘Pakistan is mostly importing drones from Türkiye and China. Anti -drone technology is not yet advanced in our country, we should acquire them immediately. An important thing in this is that training will also have to be noted that the First Line of Commission is of BSF. The second line of control is from the state police. Is BSF training and technology fully equipped? ‘?

‘Excessive activity of drone in Punjab’s border area’

Sandeep Pathak said, ‘Pakistan or any country would not like to highlight it. They will use the drone only for strategic purpose. They are not going to drop the bomb. The rest of the information, drugs, arms will be sent here and used in terrorist activities so that they do not come in the government and it can continue. There is a lot of drone activity on Punjab’s border area Tarn Taran and Amritsar.
