In an interview given to Pinkvilla, Abhijeet Bhattacharya said that he knows Shahrukh Khan very well. Shahrukh came into the industry in front of him and they have spent a lot of time together. Abhijeet Bhattacharya said, ‘There is only one day difference between Shahrukh and my birthday. I may be 6-7 years senior to Shahrukh and hence I can go to him and say that enough of drama. You are a star and will always be but you are my junior and will always remain so.’
Abhijeet further said, ‘Sometimes it seems that he is a man who shows off or he does not have time. But he is not like that, even today if I go to meet him, he will meet me and sit with me, even though we have no close relationship. He even knows that some things have hurt me.’
