Farmer leader Chaudhary Dilip Singh, who was protesting at the post, told that the 17-year-old son of the farmer was going back home from the flour mill at 6:30 pm on Tuesday evening. Two policemen of Kukthala outpost asked him to deliver vegetables to the outpost. On Kishore’s refusal, the duo took him to the Kukthala outpost and beat him mercilessly. The accused policemen were inebriated and tried to misbehave with the teenager. Also threatened to send him to jail in a false case.

On Wednesday, family members and villagers informed him. They are demanding the suspension of the accused by staging a sit-in at the Kukthala outpost from 9.30 am. Later, the police officers took cognizance of the matter and ended the strike by giving assurance.
