On January 18, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) workers created a ruckus in the Collectorate regarding the ban on illegal coaching centers in Aligarh city and the looting, harassment and irregularities being faced by the students studying there. During this time, they reached the office of ADM City and sat on strike, raising slogans and demonstrating. The commotion continued for about three hours. A team under the leadership of DIOS and ACM II set out to investigate and took action to lock three coaching centres. Then somewhere the workers left the protest. Litigants and advocates had to face problems regarding the demonstration.

ABVP workers had reached the collectorate under the leadership of department coordinator Vishvendra. Activists alleged that on November 30, 2023, a memorandum was submitted demanding action against the harassment of students and illegal extortion at illegal coaching centres. For this, a five-member team was also formed under the leadership of ACM II Sanjay Mishra, but no action has been taken till now. The workers alleged that the ACM and DIOS have met the operators of the coaching centers and are deliberately not taking any action.

ACM II and DIOS were called regarding the ruckus and allegations of ABVP workers. The workers had a heated argument with DIOS Sarvadanand. The workers told the DIOS that if action is not taken against the coaching centres, they will meet CM Yogi Adityanath and complain. Metropolitan Minister Shailendra Prajapati and National Executive Member Ankur Sharma said that more students are being accommodated in illegal coaching centers than their capacity. In the name of free parking, fake publicity, 100 percent selection, students coming from rural areas are being misled. Fees are being collected arbitrarily.

ADM City Amit Kumar Bhatt and ADM Administration Pankaj Kumar handed over a list of coaching center operators to DIOS and ACM II and sent them for action. After investigation, the team locked three coaching centers including Katara Defense Academy and Chanakya Academy located at Center Point. Then the workers calmed down and left the ADM City office. ADM City Amit Kumar Bhatt said that three coaching centers have been locked due to irregularities found in them. The operators have been summoned with all the documents. Other coaching centers are also being investigated.

On this occasion, student leaders Amit Goswami, Jai Yadav, Tanishk Kumar, Metropolitan Co-Minister Chirag Bhardwaj, Chirag Saxena, Riya Nayak, Puran, Vipin Sharma, Tejas, Abhay Mishra, Suraj, Tridev, Nikhil, Omprakash, Devesh, Hrithik, Lavkush, Karthik. , Vikas, Harshit Hindu etc. officials and workers were present.
