During investigation, the accused was identified as Pritam Kumar alias Pitter (19) son of Prem Kumar, a resident of Ambedkar Nagar. Inspector Umesh Yadav’s team laid a siege and arrested the accused from South Delhi.

The accused Pritam Kumar alias Pittar was influenced by local crooks. He wanted to establish his dominance in the area. He has revealed that he used to post live videos on social media showing illegal weapons to become famous in the area. A sophisticated semi-automatic pistol and a cartridge were recovered from his possession.
