The actor further said, ‘After hearing all this, I became a little double minded. At that time Zeenat was in a relationship with Sanjay Khan and was very upset. When the actor was asked what he thought about Sanjay Khan. To this the actor replied, ‘Yes, she was married, so she was going through difficult times.’ Deepak Parashar, while talking openly about his and Zeenat’s relationship, said, ‘She used to see something in me. She used to share her feelings with me basically, she needed a shoulder to cry on and that was me. So this is how our relationship was, but their (Sanjay and Zeenat) relationship was almost broken or was on the verge of breaking. In such a situation, Zeenat could not manage things at two places.
Deepak was asked that Zeenat never asked him to marry her. To this the actor replied, ‘It is not necessary to shout everything, some things can be understood even by remaining silent. When you like each other, there are no words needed. Zeenat left him but did not say anything to me either. We are still good friends and meet often. Marriage is not necessary in today’s times.
