Shri Mata Gaushala: Whenever it comes to cow rearing and cow service, an image of Mathura-Vrindavan is formed in the mind. Cow rearing has great importance here since mythological times. The whole world knows the Braj region as a milk hub, but now it will be recognized as a biogas hub. Although there is already a refinery in Mathura, but now private companies are also investing in Mathura to make biogas, CNG and fertilizer. Adani Group’s Total Energy Biomass Limited, one of the country’s biggest companies, has now started work on the plan to set up a biogas plant at Ramesh Baba’s Shrimata Gaushala in Barsana. This biogas plant, to be built at a cost of 200 crores, will make CNG as well as liquid manure. For this cow dung coming out of Shri Mata Gaushala will be used. There is a plan to buy cow dung from farmers and cattle herders for this plant.

Adani group will make CNG and cow dung
Barsana’s Shri Mata Gaushala, which is one of the biggest cow shelters in the country, will generate income along with cow service. According to the report, Adani Total Gas Limited has entered into an agreement with Ramesh Baba’s Shri Mata Gaushala, under which a biogas plant will be set up on the land of the Gaushala itself.

Spread over 13 acres, this plant has a capacity of 40 tonnes of cow dung, which can produce 750 to 800 kg of CNG. Along with this, the liquid fertilizer extracted from the plant will also be made available to the farmers. Under this agreement, Adani Group’s biogas plant being built inside the cowshed will use the land of the cowshed for 20 years.

In return, payment will also be made to the Gaushala in lieu of rent and cow dung. Not only this, a part of the income earned by selling the bio gas CNG prepared here will also be spent on cow service in the Gaushala.

Amul and Vita Dairy also set up biogas plant
The country’s rural economy, which was once dependent on agriculture and animal husbandry, is now increasingly adopting the model of earning from cow dung. Today, many farmers and animal husbandry are making biogas by setting up biogas plants along with liquid manure to meet their personal needs.

Due to this, the stove of many cooks burns. Seeing the increasing profits in cow dung model, now many companies are investing in this model. Before Adani Group, Amul Company has also set up a similar biogas plant in Gujarat. Vita Dairy of Haryana is also working on a similar plant in Narnaul.

Many big companies of the country are preparing to earn crores from cow dung. CNG gas used in cooking gas and vehicles is being made from this cow dung. Along with this, organic fertilizers are also being made to increase the production of crops.

Biogas is already being made
According to the report of Kisan Tak, a biogas plant is already installed in Ramesh Baba’s Shri Mata Gaushala located in Barsana, Mathura, through which biogas is made from 25 tonnes of cow dung every day. The cowshed is illuminated by this gas only. A 100 KV generator is powered by the gas coming out of the biogas plant and electricity supply is being ensured for all the works of the cowshed.
