ADG Zone Received Ficci Smart Policing Award 2025 – Amar Ujala Hindi News Live


Additional Director General of Police Agra Zone Anupam Kulshrestha in New Delhi has been awarded the FICCI Smart Policing Award 2025. Out of 129 entries of 23 organizations including 16 state police forces and 6 Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), UP Police won four smart policing awards at the ceremony.

Director General of Police Prashant Kumar and ADG Law and Order Amitabh Yash were honored for Trinetra 2.0 initiative. ADG Technical Naveen Arora was awarded Crime Analytics and Preferential Policing Portal, while Commandant SDRF Lucknow Satish Kumar was awarded for Disaster Mitra Pahal.

The ADG Agra Zone Anupam Kulshrestha and his team were given the award for the campaign operation operation in the zone. This is given in the Women’s Safety category. The Operation Jagriti Abhiyan is running 62 blocks of seven districts and about 4000 gram panchayats in the direction of ADG and coordination of UNICEF since 1 November 2023. It was launched from Mathura. So far, three phase operations have been completed.

After this Phase-1, there was a decline of 18 percent in the total female crime and about 35 percent after Phase-2. The assessment report was made by IIM Indair. Operation Jagriti has made significant positive impact on women safety and empowerment at the ground level.
