The Pakistani Army has admitted that there was fighting in many areas near the Durand Line, but only 1 Pakistani soldier has died in the Taliban attack.
Afghanistan’s Defense Ministry gave a statement
In a statement, the Defense Ministry of Afghanistan has termed the Durand Line drawn between the two countries as an imaginary line. The Afghan Defense Ministry said, ‘On December 28, the attack was carried out in those areas of Pakistan from where attacks were carried out on Afghan soil.’ He said that the Afghan army has also burnt many posts of the Pakistani army.
Taliban announces, does not accept Durand Line
It is noteworthy that there has been a dispute between Pakistan and Afghanistan regarding the Durand Line for decades. No government of Afghanistan has ever accepted this border line drawn by the British. They always call it an imaginary line.
