You will see millions of people wearing slippers. But have you ever wondered how slippers are made? These days a video is going viral in which slippers are shown being made in a factory. This process is not as easy as people might think.
Recently a video has been posted on Instagram account @namasteiindia in which slippers are shown being made. In this video you can see how the white-blue slippers (Slippers making video), which people wear in their homes, are made. In the video, there is a factory inside which big machines are seen installed. Old rubber and melted rubber are being poured into them which is being processed.
This is how slippers are made in the factory
After pressing this rubber well, it is flattened like a sheet and put on a big roller. Different types of substances are poured onto the rollers as they rotate. Because of these substances the rubber becomes thin. Then it is cut and some other coating is applied over it and when it hardens, it is placed under the machine and then the machine cuts the rubber in the shape of slippers. A woman keeps those slippers separately and puts rubber steps on them, i.e. straps, which remain stuck on the feet. In this way the slippers are ready.

This video has received more than 4 crore views and many people have given their feedback by commenting. One said that the process of making slippers is more hygienic than making food items. One said that this was his mother’s favorite weapon. While one joked that slippers should be made lighter in factories because they hurt when they fall behind!
