In this scheme, the businessmen who have got the GI tag will be able to supply their goods anywhere in the country or abroad through the post office. For this, they do not need to do anything special, but they have to go to their nearest post office and fill a form. And verify their business. After this, they can supply makhana anywhere in the country and abroad according to their capacity and demand.

Booking will be done these days
Public Relations Inspector of Madhubani Postal Department Phooldev Yadav explained in detail that if traders want, they can get their parcels delivered from their business address. At present, this scheme is running smoothly. There is no time limit or date restriction for this. Traders can send their goods through the postal department on any working day except government holidays.

Public Relations Inspector Phooldev Yadav further explains that delivery of Makhana in countries around India will take 7 days and it will take 10 days for the goods to reach far off countries like America, Britain. Traders can get their parcels delivered through post office. Payment for this can be made online or offline to the postal department. Apart from this, traders can also track their parcels from time to time.

So far, 11 traders from Madhubani have taken advantage of this service. These people have registered for the export of makhana. Further, traders who want to expand their business and send goods abroad can contact the Public Relations Officer or Postmaster at the Head Post Office.
