Deep Tanwaniya, a resident of Zanjeer Bagh police station in Indore, was in a love relationship with Vaibhav Shukla, a resident of Chakeri police station in Kanpur. Marriage had been decided between the two. Deep fell so deeply in love with Vaibhav that on her request he spent around Rs 50 lakh and got his sex changed. He changed from Deep to Deepa. As promised, when Deep came to Kanpur to get married, Vaibhav refused to marry. Deep got so hurt by this that he took revenge by setting fire to his lover Vaibhal’s car.,

The friendship between Deep, resident of Indore, and Vaibhav, resident of Kanpur, started through social media. Vaibhav started talking to Deep by creating a fake ID in the name of Sonu Maurya. When the friendship between the two turned into love, they both expressed their desire to marry each other. After this, both of them reached Vrindavan to meet in July 2022. Vaibhav pressured Deep to marry him if he changed his gender. Deep alias Deepa told that she spent about Rs 50 lakh and got the sex changed. But after that Vaibhav refused to marry. Deep was so hurt by this that he set Vaibhav’s car on fire.

Kanpur DCP East Shravan Kumar Singh said that the police have arrested the accused on the basis of CCTV footage. Both were on the Kanpur-Indore highway, 40 kilometers away from Kanpur. The police arrested these two accused from there.
