The arrested agent has been identified as Noor Alam (49), a resident of Taimur Nagar. Police said that on July 30, a passenger named Dhananjay Kumar arrived at IGI Airport to go to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Immigration department officials checked his travel documents, which revealed that a fake visa of Kyrgyzstan was pasted on the passenger’s passport. After this, Dhananjay was handed over to the police and a case of fraud was registered against him and he was arrested.

Dhananjay told the police that he is a resident of Gopalganj, Bihar and wanted to go abroad for a better life. He contacted an agent named Rehmat through Munna Singh, who assured him of sending him to Kyrgyzstan via UAE for Rs 2 lakh. Rehmat prepared fake tickets and visas after taking the money. The police arrested Rehmat from Gopalganj on the information provided by Dhananjay. Rehmat told that he used to commit fraud along with Noor Alam. However, Noor Alam absconded during the raid.

Based on technical investigation, the police arrested Noor Alam from his hideout in Delhi. He admitted that he worked on commission for Rehmat and received a commission of Rs 25,000 for providing fake visa to Dhananjay.
