A dairy owner from Agra was found injured near a bridge in Mathura’s Refinery police station area on Wednesday. He died while being taken to the hospital. He was returning from his sister’s house. The family is alleging murder. The police is calling it a road accident.

Lakhanram (40), a resident of Pichuna village of Uchhain police station in Bharatpur district, was living with his family in Kishorpura Colony of Jagdishpura police station in Agra for the last 10 years. He used to run a dairy in a rented shop in Kishorpura. He had come to the township to visit his sister Rajo on Wednesday. He was returning at night. He was found injured on the way. On receiving the information, his family members also came. According to the inspector, his family got him referred to Agra. When he died on the way, they brought back his body.

Lakhan Ram’s cousin Sundar, who reached the postmortem house on Thursday, alleged that the police reported it to be a road accident. But, no injury marks were found on Lakhan’s body. There is a suspicion of murder. The police have asked to wait till the postmortem report comes.
