Agra Police is becoming helpful to domestic and foreign tourists. On Sunday, the police found the missing purse of a Russian female tourist in a hotel in Hariparvat area within an hour. 800 dollars and 500 euros were kept in the purse. The Russian police inspector who came to see the Taj Mahal did not get a room even after booking in the hotel. The police refunded him the booking amount and got him a room in another hotel. Both the tourists thanked the police.
A group of female tourists from Russia are staying in a hotel located in Hariparvat area. The tourists had gone to the hotel to have dinner on Sunday morning. A tourist lost his purse. Asked for help from police. Police station in-charge Inspector Alok Singh and Sanjay Place outpost in-charge Nishamak Tyagi arrived. Showed CCTV cameras. Took help from employees. Within an hour, the purse stuck between the cushions of the sofa was found.
Amount was deducted from account after booking on website
Inspector of Russian Police had come to Agra on Sunday. Had to go to Varanasi on Monday. He booked a hotel room through a website to stay for one night. The booking fee was deducted. When he reached the hotel, the staff told him that the room was not booked in his name. He asked for police help. Police Station Head Tourism Neelam Rana reached. Investigation revealed that the booking amount was deducted from the tourist’s account but was not credited to the hotel’s account. Booking could not be done due to technical problem. The police station chief talked to the hotel staff and got the money returned. Got a room in another hotel.
