With the worsening of Agra’s air, the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) has been implemented. In this, responsibility of every department has been fixed when AQI reaches 100 to 300, 301 to 400 and 401 to 500, in which if AQI remains the same for 48 hours and the amount of PM-2.5 particles is high, the departments will have to take action on their own. . Nodal officers have been appointed for this in every department.
Delhi has taken several steps to control pollution due to the presence of poison in the air. Many decisions have been taken including closing schools. If AQI in Agra crosses 500, then operation of schools and trucks etc. will be stopped. According to GRAPE, if AQI is more than 500, the measures include stopping the operation of trucks within the city limits, closing schools, complete closure of building construction activities and continuous water sprinkling, etc.
