According to the report, a total of 184.86 lakh metric tonnes of food grains have been produced in the year 2021-2022. While a year ago its production was around 179 lakh metric tonnes. In one year it increased by 5 lakh metric tonnes.

Production of wheat, rice all increased

The latest figures of food grain production for the years 2021 and 2022 have come out. According to him, 77.17 lakh metric tonnes of rice and 68.89 lakh metric tonnes of wheat have been produced in Bihar. A total of 184.86 lakh metric tonnes of food grains were produced in Kharif and Rabi season. But now the picture is coming out in the figures. Accordingly, Bihar has registered growth.

If you look at the figures, the production in the year 2019-20 was 163.80 lakh metric tonnes, in 2020-21 it increased to 179.52 lakh metric tonnes. This year there may be 70 lakh metric tonnes of wheat

Experts, this year wheat production is expected to increase. Experts say that the heavy rains at the end of the Kharif season have changed the weather. Sowing has become easier due to high moisture. About 70 lakh metric tonnes of wheat is expected to be produced this year. At the same time, the production of rice is expected to be 60 to 62 lakh metric tonnes in 2022-2023.
