Officials say that Japanese government counselor Takashi Yoshioka has demanded one hectare of land to develop the model farm.

The Japanese government wants to implement its technology in a large area of Uttar Pradesh. Under the project, crops of Japanese seeds and technology will be produced in the model farm. The climate of Uttar Pradesh will be tested. The quality of the soil will also be observed. On the basis of that the production of crops will be decided. Later five hectares will be expanded.
