Aiims Doctors Requested Not To Deduct Salary For Absence During Protest – Amar Ujala Hindi News Live

AIIMS doctors have requested not to deduct salaries for the absence during the protest. The doctor had protested against the rape of a trainee doctor at RGKar Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata. During this time, the Supreme Court had asked the doctors to end their strike and also assured them that no action of any kind would be taken against them.

AIIMS RDA alleges that even after the assurance of the Supreme Court, AIIMS is adamant on deducting the salary by treating the absence during the strike as leave. President Dr. Inder Shekhar Prasad has written a letter to the Union Health Minister demanding intervention in this matter. Also said that AIIMS should withdraw the official memorandum of 2 November and reconsider the representation of 2 December. In the memorandum issued by AIIMS, it has been said that this matter will be considered in the next 10 days.
