Asaduddin Owaisi Attacked Gujarat CM: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President Asaduddin Owaisi has again attacked BJP. However, this time their target is not the Modi government at the Centre, but the government led by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel. Asaduddin Owaisi has asked many questions to the Gujarat government on the arrest of a Maulana by Gujarat ATS.
Asaduddin Owaisi said, “If any Maulana recites Takreer or Sher, he is picked up and put in jail. I want to ask the Gujarat government that you caught Maulana from Mumbai and took him to Gujarat. But he is in Gujarat. There are many such videos where people come in the video and say that we will shoot Owaisi, cut off his tongue, cut off his head, but no one cares about him. But here if someone reads the wrong couplet, then he will be punished. By devising a means, they take Maulana away from Mumbai. Three cases each are filed against him.”

What is the whole matter?
Actually, Maulana Mufti Salman Azhari had given an objectionable speech on 31 January 2024 in a program near B’ Division Police Station, Junagadh. He had said, “There is silence for some time and then there will be noise, today is the time of dogs, tomorrow our turn will come.” Expressing displeasure over this statement, Hindu organizations had filed a case against Maulana under sections 153A, 505, 188, 114. Since then Gujarat Police and ATS were searching for Maulana. Gujarat ATS had arrested Maulana Mufti Salman Azhari from Mumbai on 5 February 2024.
Supporters came out in protest
At the same time, after the arrest of Maulana, his supporters came out on the road and also demonstrated against Gujarat ATS. On February 5, as soon as it was known that Maulana had been arrested by Gujarat ATS, thousands of supporters reached Ghatkopar police station and started creating ruckus. Maulana had appealed to the supporters to remain calm.
