Dubai Floods: Due to heavy rains in Dubai, flood like situation has arisen. Due to this, the residents of Dubai and people in India are also facing problems. The reason for this is that more than a dozen flights going from India to Dubai had to be cancelled. 19 flights have been canceled since Wednesday (April 17). Due to heavy rains, Dubai Airport has been flooded, after which airlines like Air India, Indigo have canceled their flights.

Airport sources have said that due to heavy rain and flood like conditions in Dubai, at least 19 flights to and from Delhi Airport were canceled yesterday (Wednesday). Yesterday evening, 10 flights going to Dubai and 9 flights coming from there had to be canceled due to rain. Sources further said that after the rain since Tuesday (April 16), the runway of Dubai Airport has been flooded with water, due to which the flights service has come to a complete halt.

Air India flights to Dubai canceled

After rain in Dubai and the airport being submerged, Air India and Indigo canceled many of their flights on Wednesday. Air India operates 72 flights a week to Dubai from different cities of India, but it had to cancel flights after the inclement weather in this Gulf city. Passengers have also got the option to reschedule their flights from Air India. Airlines said that it is providing all possible help to the passengers.

Vistara, Indigo and SpiceJet also canceled flights

Flights to Dubai of other airlines including Air India Express, Vistara, Indigo and SpiceJet have also faced problems. Air India Express said that we are giving the option of full refund and free rescheduling to the affected passengers. IndiGo announced on Wednesday that it was facing operational problems due to bad weather. Due to this, all flights coming and going from Dubai have been cancelled.

SpiceJet said in a post on Twitter that all flights coming from Dubai have been affected due to bad weather. Dubai International Airport, ranked as the second busiest airport in the world in 2023 by the Airports Council International (ACI), has faced problems after heavy rains. After the rain in Dubai, a flood like situation has arisen in the city.
