In Agra, the temperature which was five degrees above normal and strong winds blew away the blanket of smog that started in October. Since two days, the air quality of the city has become like monsoon days. Due to high temperature and high wind speed, pollutants are not able to stay in one place.

According to the report released on Tuesday by the Central Pollution Control Board, the best air in five years has been recorded in October this year. Here, on Tuesday, AQI of Agra was recorded at 67, Mathura-Vrindavan at 83, Firozabad at 86 and Bharatpur at 80. The air quality in these districts of Taj Trapezium Zone has improved in just two days. Earlier, due to AQI being more than 200, pollution related restrictions were about to be imposed here, but the increase in temperature and strong winds improved the air quality.
