Air pollution increased in Delhi

With the change in wind direction and reduced speed in the capital, the air quality has once again reached the very poor category. Due to this, people have started feeling burning sensation in the eyes along with difficulty in breathing. On one hand, people are being affected by cold due to falling temperature and on the other hand by pollution. Delhi’s air quality index (AQI) was recorded at 379 on Monday. It is in very poor category. There has been an increase of 84 index points compared to Sunday. At the same time, this was the highest AQI recorded this month. On the other hand, in schools and colleges of Delhi, Gurugram, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar, classes up to class five will be conducted in hybrid mode under Group 3.
