For the past several days, the friendship between a dog and a wild gray langur has become a topic of discussion among the local people in Abu Road, Railway Colony of Sirohi district.
People who come here every morning for a walk see this monkey and dog playing with each other and are shocked to see the friendship between the monkey and the dog. Jitendra Parihar, who comes here daily for morning walk, told Local 18 that every morning he sees a dog and a monkey playing with each other near the railway ground. People have been watching this scene for the last several days. Local people are also liking the friendship between dog and monkey. Children also enjoy seeing these two playing.
Enemies by nature, but friends of each other
The nature of dogs is aggressive towards animals other than cats or monkeys. Dogs pounce on any outside animal when it comes to their area, but here the dog is seen playing with the wildlife langur every day. Due to the presence of a large number of huge trees in the colony, the monkeys also like this place and the local residents also do not cause any harm to them. At the same time, monkeys also do not attack people.
Animals and birds are attracted by the greenery.
Local residents of the colony tell Local 18 that along with people, this place is also home to animals. Despite being an urban area, there is a lot of greenery all around this colony. There are many old trees in this colony established during the British era. Because of this, a large number of parrots and heron trees are seen here in the evening.
