An accident happened with Akshay Kumar during the 2009 film Blue. After which his life was narrowly saved.
Till date, Akshay Kumar has not been able to forget the accident that happened during the blue film. He still remembers the incident when he saw death so closely. He himself had once told about this.
45 was surrounded by sharks
Akshay Kumar had once told about his painful accident in an interview given to ETimes. Akshay told- He was shooting underwater without oxygen tank. While shooting, his head was hit by a sunken ship there. Due to which he had lost a lot of blood. Not only this, he was 150 feet under water. During this time Akshay had lost a lot of blood. The sharks present there were attracted by the smell of blood and came near him and he was surrounded by 40-45 sharks.

Akshay further told that when he was surrounded by so many sharks, he did not panic but kept swimming patiently on the surface of the water. Due to this, even the sharks did not feel threatened by them and did not say anything to them. Otherwise she could harm them.
This film of Akshay Kumar was released in 2009. Blue could not do much at the box office but the songs of this film became very famous.
