Business Proposal In Flight: You must have heard the name of Shark Tank India a lot, where people come with big business ideas and many people also get good offers. Amidst all this, there is a lot of discussion about a new business pitch which happened in the flight and after getting off the plane, a call was also received.
Actually, there is a young man named Akshay Satnaliwala who wanted to work on his business idea for a long time but he was not able to find any suitable platform. He would hardly have thought that while traveling by air, he would meet Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and within some time the Railway Administration would come into action.
Shared business idea with Railway Minister
Akshay Satnaliwala was going from Delhi to Kolkata by flight a week ago i.e. on 2nd February. Railway Minister Ashwina Vaishnav was also traveling in the same flight. Seeing the Railway Minister, Akshay could not control himself and wanted to share his business idea with him but due to protocol, he could not reach him.
But he did not give up. He did not have any means to share the business idea, then he came across a napkin on which Akshay wrote the idea of solid waste transportation by railway freight. Somehow he managed to hand over this napkin to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav.
What did Akshay Satnaliwala say?
According to news agency PTI, he said, “Sir, if you allow me, I would like to present how railway cement plants can contribute to the supply chain of AFR (alternative fuels and raw materials) and also to our Prime Minister’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. By doing this, it can become an integral part.”
The call came just 6 minutes after getting off the flight.
To his surprise, he received a call from the ER GM’s office within six minutes of landing at the NSCBI airport and a meeting was scheduled with Deuskar on 6 February. Eastern Railway general manager Milind K Deuskar and other senior officials met Satnaliwala at the ER headquarters in Kolkata and discussed the freight possibilities suggested by his firm, an official said on Thursday.
