Umrah Vaccine Certificate: The government of Saudi Arabia has made vaccine certificate mandatory for Umrah pilgrims, hence Al Hosn app has been launched to get the vaccine certificate. In fact, in the month of March, the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) had made flu vaccination mandatory for pilgrims going from Arab Emirates to Saudi Arabia. On April 5, on its official social media account, Al Hosn app shared information on how pilgrims can access the certificate through the app. If you don’t have the Al Hosn app on your phone, you can download it from Huawei App Gallery, Google Play Store, Apple AppStore or Samsung Galaxy Store. Open the app and log in using your Emirates ID number or UAE Pass.
How to make Umrah certificate?
On opening the app, a certificate section will appear on the homepage, after clicking on it, click on ALL. Then you have to go to the ‘Health Report’ section, here a ‘Umrah’ category will appear. When you click on Umrah, you will see all the relevant vaccine certificates, which you can download as a PDF file. It can also be shared digitally. The app also generates a QR code, which can be scanned to access the certificate.

Meningitis Conjugate
The vaccine against meningitis should not be more than three years old and should be issued at least 10 days before going on Umrah.
Influenza
It has been made mandatory for pilgrims to get vaccinated against seasonal influenza before embarking on the Umrah pilgrimage. Especially those people who are at increased risk of severe influenza.
