This research has also proved that due to heat, any pregnant woman can have labor pain as well as premature delivery. This much heat is happening due to climate change. The intensity of this extreme heat is increasing due to heat wave. Due to heat, this weather is very dangerous for pregnant women and unborn children.

This research has been done in more than 50 metropolitan cities. This research is based on the children born. In this research, the researcher has analyzed the complete circumstances related to the birth of 5.31 crore children born between 1993 and 2017. 

This research has made it clear that if there is a heat wave or the temperature remains the same for four days, then in this hot condition, the number of premature deliveries and babies born before time can increase.

Research report:

21, 53, 609 children were born before the summer. And 57,95,313 were born early term. Out of these 30% were mothers whose age was less than 25 years. And 53.8% were between 25 and 34 years of age. While 16.3% were women whose age was less than 35 years. This report also revealed that in the last 25 years there has been a huge increase in premature births. And the number of children born before time has increased a lot.

This research has revealed a very shocking fact that the complaint of premature birth has increased a lot in women above the age of 30 years. 

When is a birth called premature?

Premature birth is the condition when the child is born before 37 weeks of pregnancy. A child born during this period or before that is called premature. A child born between 37 and 39 weeks of pregnancy is called early term birth. On the other hand, if a child is born after the 40th week, then it is called normal. 

Many problems can be seen in the body of a child born prematurely. They do not develop properly and this can cause their death. That child may have to face health related problems throughout his life. These problems can be related to breathing, mental health and behavior disorders. 

India is number one in this matter

New report released by United Nations "Born Too Soon: A Decade of Action on Preterm Birth" It has been revealed that in India, 30.2 lakh children were born prematurely during the year 2020. At the same time, the number of children born prematurely is increasing by 13 percent day by day. In India, every 13th child is born prematurely. According to the data, out of all the children born in the year 2020 in the whole world, 22.5 percent of the children were Indians.
