Late night the government has transferred the DM and Commissioner of Aligarh. Sanjeev Ranjan will be the new DM of Aligarh. Sangeeta Singh will be the new commissioner of Aligarh. Soon both will take charge.

Aligarh DM Vishakh ji has been transferred to the post of District Magistrate of Lucknow. Pratapgarh District Magistrate Sanjeev Ranjan has been made DM of Aligarh. Commissioner Chaitri V has been transferred to the post of Director General of Youth Welfare and Provincial Guard. In his place, Sangeeta Singh, Chief Executive Officer of National Health Insurance Scheme, has been made the new Commissioner of Aligarh.

Aligarh’s new District Magistrate Sanjeev Ranjan is originally from Bihar. He is a 2013 batch IAS officer. Before this he had also been the CEO of Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority. He was the CDO of Joint Magistrate, Saharanpur at Kushinagar. He was also DM in Sambhal. Aligarh’s new commissioner Sangeeta Singh is from Etawah in UP. She was promoted as IAS in 2015. She was the DM of Sultanpur in 2018.
