Minister of State Independent Charge Aseem Arun has said that apart from the IAS-PCS pre-examination training center at Mukandpur in Madrak area, Social Welfare Department will open talent centers for education, entrepreneurship training in other districts of the state. Talking to the media on Sunday, he said that now along with connecting with the Chief Minister’s Abhyudaya Yojana, it will be operated as a skill development, entrepreneurship center and talent center. The center will train students for IAS-PCS exam preparation as well as for NEET, JEE and CLAT and other types of competitive exams. Skill development center will also operate in this. Skill labs will be set up at these centres.
He said that Aligarh is an industrial district in itself. According to the demand of the industrial units established here, the youth will be trained in trades related to skill development. Under the Pradhan Mantri Scheduled Caste Abhyudaya Yojana, loans will be made available to the youth for setting up enterprises. Sufficient space is available in the training center. In such a situation, a skill lab can be easily established here. He said that entrepreneurship will be promoted by starting PM Ajay Yojana at the Centre. Along with training for setting up a new business, an office will also be set up here for giving loans. The state has received huge investment through the Global Investors Summit. A plan is being prepared so that the youth get its benefit.
1.73 crore will be spent on beautification of IAS-PCS training center
Minister of State for Independent Charge Aseem Arun inspected the IAS-PCS pre-examination training center Mukandpur, examined the arrangements and gave instructions for necessary improvements in it. He directed the officials of the Social Welfare Department and UP CIDCO to complete the repair and renovation works with full honesty in a timely manner, so that the students of competitive exams get its benefit.
Project Manager of UP CIDCO RK Niranjan said that Rs 1.73 crore would be spent on the renovation and repair work of the IAS-PCS Pre-Exam Training Centre. Its proposal has been sent to Director Social Welfare Lucknow. The Minister of State gave instructions to install CCTV cameras to keep an eye on the activities conducted in the premises of the center including the rooms or to be inspected by any other officer. He directed Deputy Director Social Welfare Anand Kumar to prepare a detailed plan within seven days and send it.
