Prostitution business has been busted at two places including an Oyo hotel in the city after inputs received on campaign against illegally operated private bus stands. This gorakhdhandha was caught by raiding the Pari Hotel in Mahua Kheda area and the house in Kotwali Bhujpura area late on Sunday evening. All nine people, including five women, were arrested and sent to jail on Monday after registering two cases. One of the women caught is from Uttarakhand.
According to SP City Kuldeep Singh Gunawat, late Sunday evening ASP, CO II Puneet Dwivedi along with the administrative team raided Pari Hotel located at Bauner Tiraha in Mahua Kheda area on the basis of an information. In this hotel operated as OYO franchisee, Shivlok Colony Devi Nagla resident along with manager Praveen Kumar was found in an objectionable condition with a woman from Bahadarabad, Haridwar, Uttarakhand. During interrogation, the woman accepted that the hotel manager provides her customers. She does flesh trade for the sake of money.
Before going to the room with Praveen, it was Praveen who had introduced him to a customer named Vipin Pradhan. Cash and objectionable material were also recovered from them. During this, the woman accepted that she was doing this business after coming in contact with a woman from Bhujpura, Kotwali area. On this information, CO Ist Abhay Kumar Pandey along with the administrative team raided a woman’s house in Bhujpura area. From there, three other women and three customer men including the kingpin woman were caught. Cash and objectionable material were also recovered from them.
The four women nabbed there are from Bhujpura area of the city, while the nabbed customers are Abdul Razzaq of Mullapara, Mehndi Hasan and Prashant of Center Point Hariom Nagar. All nine people have been booked under the Prostitution Act in Mahua Kheda and Kotwali and sent to jail on Monday.
