The agency will prepare a detailed report (DPR). This proposal was approved in the board meeting of UPEIDA on Wednesday.

The network of roads is expanding in Uttar Pradesh, which has the highest number of expressways in the country. As per the wishes of CM Yogi, the work of connecting all the expressways is being done at a fast pace. In this series, there is a proposal to connect the Chitrakoot Link Expressway with the Bundelkhand Expressway. At the same time, the Ballia Link Expressway is also being constructed.

A link expressway is needed to connect the Agra-Lucknow Expressway and Purvanchal Expressway. All the expressways of the state will be connected with each other through this one project. A detailed action plan will be prepared regarding this link expressway of about 60 km. At the same time, the budget has been released for the Chitrakoot Link Expressway.

According to the preliminary study, the four-lane Chitrakoot Link Expressway will be about 14 km long. Redecon (India) Private Limited and NV Projects Consultancy Private Limited have been selected to prepare the DPR in this regard.
