Offline Registration for Amarnath Yatra: Amarnath Yatra has immense importance in Hindu beliefs. According to mythological texts, this is the place where Lord Shiva told many secrets to Goddess Parvati and this is the reason why it is called the pilgrimage of pilgrimages. Amarnath Yatra is completed in the Amarnath cave at an altitude of about 13000 feet, 15 kilometers away from Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir. Every year millions of devotees go on Amarnath Yatra. This year’s Yatra is also going to start from June 29. Offline registration for the Yatra has also started. Let us tell you what is the complete process of offline registration.
How to do offline registration?
To get offline registration done for Amarnath Yatra, first of all the devotees will have to take token from Saraswati Dham of Jammu Railway Station. First the medical checkup of the devotees will be done, only after that the token will be issued. Separate registration centers have been made for common devotees and saints. Common devotees will have to take token and go to Vaishni Dham, Panchayat Bhawan Mahajan of offline registration center. Whereas for saints, registration centers have been made in eKYC Center Railway Station, RFID and Base Camp Bhagwati Nagar.
These devotees will not be able to go
Every year, some rules are set by the Amarnath Yatra administration so that the devotees participating in the yatra do not face any problem. This year, elderly devotees above 70 years of age and children below 13 years of age have been banned from participating in the yatra. This has been done because there is a dangerous route for many kilometers in the yatra. Like every year, this year too the administrative staff will make strict security arrangements. Paramilitary forces will also be deployed for the safety of the devotees.
The journey will start from June 29
Every year lakhs of devotees from all over the country go for Amarnath Yatra. If we talk about the year 2019, more than 3 lakh devotees completed the Amarnath Yatra. This year the Amarnath Yatra will start from 29 June and will continue till 19 August. Let us tell you that online registration for the Yatra has started from 15 June. Now the process of offline registration has also started. The first Yatra for the Yatra will start from Bhagwati Nagar base camp in Jammu on 28 June.
