Durgesh Singh Rajput / Narmadapuram: Farmers of MP adopt strange methods for higher yield in crops. Recently, farmers of Narmadapuram used country liquor to double the production of summer moong crop. The farmers here claim that by feeding country liquor to the moong crop, the yield increases up to 2 times.

Not only this, the farmers also believe that it improves the yield. It also does not have any side effect on the crop. These farmers say that the crop also gets intoxicated with alcohol like humans, due to which the yield of the crop increases due to the effect of intoxication.

According to the information, according to the farmers, alcohol intoxication doubles the yield instead of hollowing the crops. They say that the yield is being increased due to the intoxication of alcohol. Not only Narmadapuram, but farmers all over the state are slowly starting to use this new technology.

bad smell kills insects
The method of spraying alcohol by the farmers in their pulse crops is very easy. Farmers told that country liquor is mixed with water in the spraying pump. After this the crops are sprayed. Told that spraying of alcohol does not cause any harm to our body, while spraying of insecticides makes us sick due to its bad smell. Along with this, farmers believe that spraying alcohol in the crops also helps in spending.

Liquor is better than medicine!
Farmer Pankaj Pal says that medicine is put in moong to increase production, but less than half the cost is spent on sprinkling alcohol. 500ml of alcohol is added per acre. About 100 ml of alcohol is mixed in 20 liters of water. Farmers believe that alcohol is better than medicine for crop production.

Agricultural scientist said, this work is wrong
On the other hand, senior agriculture scientist KK Mishra told that it is unnecessary to spray alcohol in the summer moong crop. There is no benefit to the crop due to this. Yes, if irrigation is being done by mixing alcohol with insecticide, then it can cause side effects, due to which the crop can be damaged. We appeal to the farmers not to spray alcohol on the crop.
