In this samosa, instead of potatoes, it is prepared with raw banana spices. Its taste is amazing and the most special thing about the samosas made here is that this special samosa is prepared here only on Sundays. That’s why people have to wait for 6 days for this samosa.
Manish Jain, who runs Anandam Caters, says that our shop was started in 1852. I am the seventh generation of my family. Firstly our shop was located in the oldest walled market of Jaipur. Later, as an expansion of the work, we opened another shop in Tonk Phatak, where we started making special food every Sunday. In which people liked the taste of samosa prepared from raw banana mixture. Today, on Sundays, a huge crowd gathers for these samosas. The price of this special samosa here is Rs 18.
Make 2500 to 3 thousand samosas every Sunday
Manish Jain says that crowd of people starts gathering in this street of Kirti Nagar from Sunday morning itself. People enjoy samosas whole day. Manish Jain tells that I always wanted to prepare such a food which is not only delicious but also does not cause much harm to people’s health. Often we have seen that samosas are prepared everywhere by stuffing them with potato masala. But I used raw banana instead of potatoes and it tasted amazing, since then we continuously prepare these samosas for people on the last day of the week. Which are in great demand among the people.
