Anna Wald, MD, at Washington University says that properly cooked eggs can be eaten. These are safe but one should avoid raw milk. The CDC recommends cooking eggs to 165 degrees Fahrenheit to kill harmful bacteria and viruses. Because till now no case of bird flu has been reported from properly cooked eggs.
