The team of firefighters said that the work of extinguishing the fire in the area is going on at a rapid pace, but the fire incident may expand further if dangerous winds return this week.

To extinguish this terrible fire, teams of firefighters from 9 other states including California are also engaged in the same effort. This includes about 1400 fire engines, 84 aircraft and more than 14,000 employees. Which also includes new firefighters from Mexico.

Firefighters are facing three fires

Fire brigade officials are battling at least three wildfires in California, including the Eaton, Hurst and Palisades fires. These three fires have spread over about 38,549 acres of land. The Eaton and Palisades fires are considered to be the second and fourth most destructive fires in the history of California. At the same time, about 60 square miles have been burnt to ashes due to Palisades, Eaton and Hearst fires, which is an area larger than Paris.

More than 18 lakh people ordered to leave the city

According to officials, more than 1,75,000 people in Los Angeles County have been ordered to leave the city and about 87,000 people have been warned for this. Cal Fire Battalion Chief said, β€œPeople whose homes are in the affected areas should stay away from there. β€œThere could be downed power lines, gas line problems.”

It will take more than six months to remove the debris from the fire.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has claimed that it will remove the debris from the wildfire in Southern California in 180 days (six months), but it has also admitted that the work will take longer. FEMA official Dean Criswell told CNN’s Sarah Sidner on Monday morning (January 13) that it will take more than six months to remove the debris.
