Amit Malviya said, “This fund will be sent through criminals and dubious maulanas like Sheikh Shahjahan, Shaukat Mulla, Jahangir Khan, who will use it to ensure that Muslims vote for TMC. Despite Mamata Banerjee’s politics of appeasement, Muslims of West Bengal are the most backward and poor in the whole of India. This is the condition of Muslims in Bengal even when the Congress, Left and now TMC government has been in power in the state since independence. BJP has never been in power here.
‘Muslims are the most in number among migrant labourers’
The head of the BJP IT cell alleged, “West Bengal still ranks highest in terms of girls dropping out of school and being forced into child marriage. West Bengal’s Muslims have the highest participation in temporary jobs and the lowest representation in permanent jobs. Muslims are the highest among migrant workers leaving West Bengal.”

Mamata Banerjee targeted over illegal infiltration
BJP IT cell head Amit Malviya also targeted CM Mamata Banerjee over infiltration. He said, “Due to illegal infiltration under Mamata Banerjee’s supervision, the original Muslims here (Bengal) are losing their land and other rights.”
He alleged, “A large number of trafficked women belong to the Muslim community. This is despite Mamata Banerjee being in power in the state since 2011 and claiming to work for their welfare. However, the truth is that she (Mamata Banerjee) pays criminals in the Muslim community who ensure that she remains in power.”
