India Emerges As A Global Superpower: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has praised the Economic Survey 2023. 6.8 percent increase in GDP is to be registered
According to the Economic Survey 2023, India is expected to register a growth of 6.0 per cent to 6.8 per cent in gross domestic product (GDP) in 2023-24, depending on the economic and political developments globally. This optimistic growth forecast stems from several positives. These include positives such as increased private consumption, boosting production activity, higher capital expenditure-Capex, universal immunization coverage, enabling people to spend on contact-based services like restaurants, hotels, shopping malls.
Along with ensuring the return of migrant labor to cities to work at construction sites for growth, which had led to a significant drop in housing market inventory, as well as strengthening the balance sheets of corporates, well-capitalized ( Well-Capitalized) public sector bank has to work to increase credit supply and credit in the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) sector.
