Actually, once Amitabh Bachchan had an accident on the occasion of Diwali. His right hand got badly burnt by firecrackers. The burn marks on the hand were deep which were easily visible on camera and in the meantime Amitabh Bachchan had to shoot for the film ‘Sharaabi’. Big B wanted to complete the shooting of the film at any cost.
How did Big B get his signature style?
During the shooting of ‘Sharaabi’, the director of the film Prakash Mehra had advised Amitabh Bachchan to keep his burnt hand in his pant pocket. Amitabh shot the entire film keeping his hand in the pocket, which was his compulsion. But people liked this style of his so much that it became Big B’s signature style.
Blood started oozing out from the burnt hand
Amitabh Bachchan had tied ghunghru on his hand during the shooting of a song of the film ‘Sharaabi’. But because of this, his burnt hand got more injured and blood started coming out of his hand. But the director of the film used this also in the film. He shot the bleeding from the hand and also added it in the film.
