Amitabh Bachchan Smoking: Amitabh Bachchan is known for his strict lifestyle. He neither smokes nor drinks alcohol now. But do you know that there was a time when Amitabh used to smoke 200 cigarettes a day. Amitabh had talked about this in an old interview. Amitabh told that he does not eat non-veg but his wife Jaya does.
Amitabh used to smoke 200 cigarettes
Amitabh said- ‘I neither smoke nor drink nor eat meat. This is not because of any religion but because of test. In my family, my father was a vegetarian and my mother was not. Similarly, Jaya eats meat and I do not. I used to eat meat earlier. I even used to drink and smoke, but now I have given up everything.
‘In Kolkata, I used to smoke 200 cigarettes a day, yes 200. But after coming to Mumbai, I quit. I also used to drink, anything that came to hand. But a few years ago I decided that I did not need it. These habits don’t cause me any problems, except when I’m shooting abroad. Because there is a problem regarding vegetarian food there.
Amitabh used to have fights during college days
Amitabh further said that he is a non-violent person. Amitabh said- I do not think that I am a violent person. I don’t even lose my temper. Yes, there were some fights during college days, but that’s all. Fighting on screen is very unrealistic. It should be great and people should accept it that way.
