When he came to know about Big B’s condition, he told his younger son Anil Ambani that ‘this is a bad time for him, give him some money.’ But Amitabh Bachchan refused to take help from him. He said that he will repay his debt himself.

After some difficult times, Amitabh Bachchan’s fortunes started to change when he started hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati. Amitabh Bachchan used to charge around Rs 25 lakh per episode for hosting this show. Due to which his debt started to reduce slowly and he paid off all his debt.

Kaun Banega Crorepati has changed Amitabh Bachchan’s life. So far, he has hosted 15 seasons of this show. Only season 3 was not hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. Since then, he has been hosting all the seasons. In season 16, Big B is charging Rs 5 crore per episode.
