In Joya, a young woman who had filed a rape report against her boyfriend a year ago, reached the wedding procession with her sister. She started creating a ruckus by calling the young man her husband. A crowd gathered at the spot.
Later, when the dispute escalated, the police reached the spot. The police investigated the matter and handed over the girl to her family. This incident is of a banquet hall located on the highway in the town. A wedding function was going on here on Wednesday.
The baraat had come from a village in Thana Rajabpur area. The baraatis were eating food and preparations for the wedding were going on. Then a young woman reached there with her sister and started creating a ruckus by claiming that the groom was her husband. She alleged that the groom had done a court marriage with her.
As soon as the information about the ruckus was received, the Kotwali police also reached the spot. The girl was pacified and information about the case was gathered. Police investigation revealed that the young man who had become the groom a year ago had married the girl but had not taken her with him.
On this, the girl had filed a rape case against him. It was discussed that a decision had been taken between the two but even after this the girl had reached there to create a ruckus. The police called the girl’s family and handed over the girl to them.
CO Arun Kumar said that after investigating the matter, the girl has been handed over to her family.
The brothers of the neighborhood are harassing the student every day
In Gajraula, two brothers living in the neighbourhood harass an intermediate student. They stop her on the way and tease her. On the complaint of the student’s father, the police have filed a case against the two brothers and their father and sister. The daughter of a resident of a locality in the city is an intermediate student.
The girl’s father alleges that two brothers from the neighbourhood are vagabonds. They have bad intentions towards his daughter. When she goes to college, they block her way. The daughter told him about the incident that happened with her. He complained to both the accused and asked them to stop their misbehavior.
But the accused are threatening that if they tell the police, they will kill them. One of them intimidated their daughter and got her a SIM card. He threatens that if she wants to stay alive, she will have to talk to him. Three days ago, both the accused, their sister and father came abusing them.
They started fighting. On the complaint of the victim’s father, the police registered a case against Ajay, Sachin, his father and sister. CO Shwetaabh Bhaskar says that a case has been registered. Action will be taken after investigation.
