Police has revealed the incident of shooting of a teacher in Mandi Committee in Gajraula on January 1. Police claim that the teacher had committed the crime by giving her a betel nut worth Rs 2 lakh. Her intention behind the incident was that she would play the role of mediator when her husband was nominated. The teacher’s in-laws thought that she talked to the teacher.
The police have arrested the middle-aged man who was with the teacher and the accused who shot. CO Shwetabh Bhaskar said that on the evening of January 1, Nagendra Singh, a resident of Atarpura, lodged a report that his brother-in-law, teacher Narendra Singh, was shot at 9 in the morning by miscreants who came covered with a sheet.
On which a report of murderous attack and conspiracy was registered against Sanjeev, resident of village Chandnagar of Rajabpur police station area, his brother Mahavir, Dipanshu, Sanjeev’s son Aman and Ajay Gopal, resident of village Ramnagar of Rajabpur police station area. The police was investigating all aspects since the day of the incident.
The footage of CCTV cameras was scrutinized. Meanwhile, it came to light that teacher Rashmi, resident of Dhakiya Bhud village of Bachhrayun police station area, played an important role in carrying out the incident. He got the teacher shot by giving him a betel nut worth Rs 2 lakh. On Wednesday, the police arrested Rashmi from Bhanpur gate and Gajraj, a resident of Kafurpur in Rajabpur police station area, and interrogated them.
He confessed to committing the crime. Gajraj told the police that he was with Akkha Nagla, a resident of Amarpal, who was shot during the incident. His share was Rs 50 thousand. Police recovered Rs 15 thousand from Gajraj and two mobile phones from Rashmi.
The CO said that challan has been issued to both the accused. Efforts are being made to arrest the accused Amarpal who shot, Vineet who was riding the bike and Sanjeev, a resident of village Akha Nagla of Naugawan Sadat police station area, who was cooperating.
According to the police, Rashmi was married to Aman alias Ramandeep, a resident of Chandnagar village of Rajabpur police station area. Last year, Rashmi had filed a case against her husband under various sections including abortion, father-in-law Sanjeev, cousin father-in-law Mahavir, cousin brother-in-law Dianshu, harassment for dowry and threatening to kill.
The husband and his family thought that she talked to teacher Narendra Singh. Her family life was deteriorating due to filing a report against her in-laws. The reason for which she considered teacher Narendra Singh. Her husband had an argument with the teacher.
She committed the crime thinking that her husband and others would be implicated in shooting the teacher. Later, if the people of the society reach a compromise then she will play the role of mediator. To end the matter, she will put pressure on her husband to take her with him.
