Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant Wedding: Anant Ambani, son of India’s biggest businessman Mukesh Ambani, has tied the knot. The couple tied the knot on July 12 at Jio World Center in Mumbai. Guests from India and abroad attended the wedding. From the luxurious wedding invitation card to the high profile guests, there was a lot that was unique and special about this royal wedding of India.
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding card was quite unique and expensive. It included things like a silver temple, gold idols, shawls, sweets etc. All the Reliance staff were given packets of namkeen along with a box of sweets and a silver coin each.
High profile guests attended
Invitations were sent to high-profile guests from all over the world to attend Radhika-Anant’s wedding. Celebrities like UK’s former Prime Minister Boris Johnson, John Kerry, actor John Cena, Kim Kardashian arrived to attend this royal wedding. Apart from this, the country’s prominent leaders like Uddhav Thackeray, Eknath ShindeWest Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee also attended the wedding. Big stars from Bollywood also attended the wedding.
traffic routes were changed
Mukesh Ambani’s younger son Anant Ambani’s wedding took place at Jio World Center and for this some traffic routes were changed. According to a news published in E-Times, a rule was made to allow entry on the roads near Jio World Center only to vehicles going for the function from the afternoon of July 12 to midnight of July 15.
Booking of three Falcon-2000 jets and about 100 planes
Ambani has booked three Falcon-2000 jets and around 100 planes to ferry the high-profile guests coming for the wedding. Rajan Mehra, CEO- Club One Air told Hindustan Times that guests are coming from all over and each plane will make multiple trips across the country.
Twice Grand Pre-Wedding
Before the marriage of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, two pre-weddings were held. The first pre-wedding was held in Jamnagar, Gujarat where foreign celebrities also attended. Bollywood superstars, especially the three Khans (Shahrukh KhanSalman Khan and Aamir Khan) performed together.
Second pre-wedding on a cruise worth Rs 7,500 crore
The second pre-wedding function took place on the Celebrity-Edge cruise from Italy to France. The cost of this cruise was Rs 7,500 crore. This function was also attended by Indian and foreign guests.
Expensive gifts given to guests
Special arrangements were made for all the high-profile guests attending Anant-Radhika’s wedding. For Anant-Radhika’s first pre-wedding in Jamnagar, guests were given gifts like Louis Vuitton bags, Bombay Artisan Company’s customized duffle bag, Bandhani and Paithani scarves, gold chains.
