Lumpy In Cow: This year was somewhat difficult for the people associated with animal husbandry and dairy business. In the beginning, animal fodder crisis and now Lumpy skin disease took the lives of many cattle. This disease, which knocks with pimples on the body of cows, causes fever and shivering, due to which the cow keeps suffering till it is not treated. This disease spreads to other animals through parasites like flies and mosquitoes, which sit on the udders of the cow. In the beginning, the cattle could not get any treatment for this serious disease, due to which many cows died. Whereas, most of the cattle got cured by indigenous remedies only.
Our scientists also found the vaccine for Lumpy in time, due to which the cattle rearers heaved a sigh of relief. The Union Ministry of Animal Husbandry has released the latest figures regarding this epidemic which has hit the animals, in which state-wise information has been given so far regarding vaccination in the rescue of Lumpi.
