Modern arrangements are being made for the treatment of animals in Chhattisgarh. In Durg district, a meeting was held in this regard under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate. In the meeting, the DM instructed that a helpline number will be issued for the treatment of animals. This helpline will be publicized at a public place. A team of veterinarians will be formed. As soon as an animal makes a call and asks for help regarding being ill. Immediately the team will reach the spot to investigate.
The area under oilseeds and pulses has increased in Chhattisgarh
In the meeting, discussions were also held regarding the increased area under pulses, oilseeds and other crops in the district. According to records, the area under oilseeds has increased by 36 percent in the district, while the area under pulses has increased by 5 percent. The DM insisted on increasing the area under these crops. DM reviewed Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana. The review revealed that 146 farmers had not received the insurance claim payment. Documents were collected from all the farmers and payment was made to them.

In many districts of Bihar, a campaign is being run for vaccination of animals.
