It was first discovered by a builder in the year 2022, when he found some patterned bricks and broken utensils during excavation. He Enyi, the leader of this project, said that during the excavation they found double city walls and the ditch around them. One such ancient setup at Niuluchong is approximately 165 meters long and 140 meters wide. This entire area is spread over 23,100 square meters. The northern and western walls of the city are in good condition. Archaeologists have unearthed fascinating cultural remains here, which include utensils and stone tools. Ash pits and pillar pits are present. It is being linked to the Lingnan area, which is present-day Guangxi, Guangdong and Hainan Province.

According to He Enyi, Lignan is also important because it is the starting point of the Maritime Silk Road. The team will still continue its research on this new discovery. Old grains and some brass or copper weapons have also been found here. With the help of technology, some old cities are now coming to light, which were buried in history. In October, an old 18th century city was found in the Amazon forests, which no one knew about. Archaeologists discovered it with the help of Lidar technology and tribes.
