Anurag Kashyap News: Anurag Kashyap’s daughter Alia Kashyap has tied the knot. She married Shane Gregoire. Their wedding pictures had gone viral on social media. Anurag had told that the budget of this wedding was equal to one of his small films. Now Anurag told that he worked more to meet the wedding expenses.
In a recent interview, he said that he took up acting jobs to cover the cost of his marriage. He admitted that as an Indian filmmaker, it was not easy to bear the expenses of such an expensive wedding. Anurag said that now that the marriage is over, he is feeling calm.
Anurag Kashyap wants to take a break from direction
While talking to Hollywood Reporter India, he talked about his plans for 2025. He said that he will focus on self-care and personal growth. He revealed that he wants to take a break from directing and focus on rest, focus on himself and enjoying films.
Anurag said that last year was full of his daughter’s marriage, filmmaking and acting.

On the work front, Anurag Kashyap has done films like Dog, Haddi, Maharaja Bed Cop, Rifle Club. His film Maharaja was very much liked. Vijay Sethupathi was seen in the lead role. Now he will be seen in Viduthalai Part 2 and One 2 One. Talking about direction, he directed Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat and Kennedy in 2023. He did not direct any film in 2024. His focus was on acting.
